Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 August 2026
Trackvisualizer is a browser-based tool. The short version: your audio never leaves your device, we do not use cookies, and we do not ask for or store any personal information. The detail is below.
Your audio files
Audio you open is read directly by your browser. It is decoded, analysed, drawn to a canvas, and encoded to MP4 entirely on your own device using the browser’s built-in WebCodecs and Web Audio APIs. At no point is the file, or any part of it, transmitted to us or to any third party. There is no upload step, no server-side rendering queue, and consequently no copy of your audio for us to store, read, or lose. Exported video is written straight to your downloads folder by your browser.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs. It is privacy-focused by design: it sets no cookies, uses no client-side state such as localStorage, and does not fingerprint or track visitors across other websites. It records aggregate information about page visits, including the URL requested, the referring page, and general details of the browser, operating system, device type, and country derived from the request.
This data is not tied to an individual and cannot be used to identify you. We do not combine it with any other source, and we do not sell or share it. Cloudflare processes it on our behalf as a data processor; see the Cloudflare privacy policy for how they handle it.
Cookies and local storage
Trackvisualizer sets no cookies and stores nothing in localStorage or sessionStorage. Your chosen preset, aspect ratio, and sensitivity live in memory for the duration of the page and are gone when you close the tab. Because we set no cookies and run no cross-site tracking, no consent banner is required.
Accounts and personal data
There is no account system. We do not ask for your name, email address, or payment details, and we operate no database of users. If you contact us by email, we will hold that message only for as long as it takes to reply.
Advertising
Trackvisualizer currently shows no advertising and includes no third-party ad or tracking scripts. We may introduce advertising in future to cover running costs. If we do, we will update this page before any ad code goes live, describe who the advertising partner is and what they collect, and — where the law requires it — request your consent first.
Hosting
The site is served as static files from Cloudflare’s global network. As with any web host, Cloudflare processes connection information such as your IP address in order to deliver the page and to protect the service from abuse.
Your rights
Data protection law, including the UK and EU GDPR, gives you rights to access, correct, and erase personal data held about you. Because we hold no personal data and our analytics cannot identify individuals, there is in practice nothing for us to retrieve or delete. You are welcome to contact us if you would like this confirmed.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. Questions about privacy can go to contact@trackvisualizer.com.
